Game Overview
Rachel Problems is a dark action-adventure game with 3D anime-style graphics and a protagonist whose yandere tendencies become increasingly difficult to hide. The game takes place around a high school campus, where the story follows Rachel’s increasingly violent behavior and the consequences of her decisions.
At the beginning, you can choose between Story and Sandbox modes. Story mode follows the game’s events and allows player decisions to influence how the plot develops. Sandbox mode takes a more open approach, letting you cause chaos around the school grounds without following the main storyline.
Story and Sandbox Modes
The story mode focuses on Rachel’s changing state of mind as events progress. Her actions and decisions contribute to the development of the character, while the people around her can react to what she does. Sandbox mode removes much of the story structure and gives you more freedom to explore the campus and interact with its inhabitants.
Rachel Problems also features a range of weapons, including a shovel, axe, umbrella, scythe, bat, chainsaw, and other items. The controls are designed to be straightforward, and the protagonist’s appearance can be customized.
Dark Anime-Style Setting
The game uses detailed 3D anime-inspired visuals for its characters and school environment. The campus provides the main area to explore, while character reactions and changes in Rachel’s psychology add variation to the situations you encounter.
Rachel Problems is a mature fangame built around dark themes and graphic violence. Its two game modes, weapon selection, campus setting, character reactions, and protagonist customization give it a structure that goes beyond simply following a fixed sequence of story events.
